Born, January 30, 1930, in Easthampton, Massachusetts, died peacefully in Bradenton, Florida March 10, 2024, as a resident of Westminster Memory Care Assisted Living. She co-owned Artbilt Awning, Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida with her husband of 59 years, Ronald Robison, who passed away in 2009. She graduated Easthampton High School 1949. Prior to marriage was employed at Spaulding Fiber Co in Dover, NH and after moving to St. Petersburg worked as Credit Manager with the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper. Barbara was a lifetime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church since 1952, and an active member of the St. Petersburg Art Museum for many years.
Barbara is survived by her three children, Cheryl Waterman, Darrell Robison, and Robin Jones. Seven grandchildren: Jordan and Taylor Waterman, Rodney and Kayla Robison, Tyson and Brice Jones, and Carson Reust. Additionally, Barbara was blessed with five great-grandchildren.
Barbara and Ronald spent many summers in Franklin, NC where they attended Resurrection Lutheran Church and were actively involved in the Macon County, NC Senior Olympic Games, and State Games in Raleigh, NC.
A memorial service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 301 58th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida on Sunday, March 24th at 5:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church School Fund in memory of Barbara Ann Robison.
